EFFICIENT LED TECHNOLOGY
In terms of growing, LED lights outshine the traditional HPS lights in almost all categories. LEDs will increase crop growth and plant quality, reduce water, flowering time, and electricity consumption and have a much longer lifespan. Using leading-edge technology -Samsung’s newest chip design- with high-efficiency universal-voltage drivers and a fan-free heat dissipation system, Aelius LED has developed a reliable, unparalleled product.
WATER AND DUST RESISTANT
Aelius LED products are rated, at a minimum, an Ingress Protection Marking of IP65. The Ingress Protection Marking indicates the degree of protection provided by mechanical casings against dust, accidental contact, and water. The first digit indicates the level of solid particle protection. A rating of 6 indicates that the product is dust-tight and has complete protection against dust contact. The second digit indicated the level of liquid ingress protection. A rating of 5 indicates protection against water jets. To get this rating the product must withstand water projected by a nozzle of 6.5 mm against the enclosure from any direction and have no harmful effects on the product.

PASSIVE SELF COOLING TECHNOLOGY
Aelius fixtures use heat sinks to absorb the minimal heat produced by the LED and dissipate it into the surrounding environment. Thermal Management is a key factor to maintaining the longevity of an LED light. LEDs operate considerably cooler than HPS, CFL and other lighting options. The use of passive self-cooling technology to regulate temperature means there is no need for noisy fans and minimal maintenance on the cooling system.
