Habitat Life is no stranger to indoor growing. Owner, Rudy Schiebel quickly recognized the value of investing in LED lights and decided to convert their HID lights to LED with the launch of Habitat Life Sciences. The process began with trialing several competing fixtures; however, they were drawn to Aelius for various factors including the sales approach, and of course, the results. Habitat Life is currently operating the Matrx REDD fixtures. They have noted lower energy bills, a consistent growth rate, and improvement in both the plant quality and production.

We first reached out to Mike and the Vertical Roots team when we sent him a box of 20w tube lights to try over their plants. They responded with a request for something a little more powerful. Mike was using 2-3 different models in his farm at the time but wasn’t quite happy with them. That’s when the Vertical Roots team took advantage of our Customized Light Program. Together we developed a dimmable 60w tube light with the option of 2 different spectrums, trialed it, tweaked it, and are now producing it for the rest of the world to enjoy!
